Signal Map

Four signals. One clear read.

Every scan reports the same four signals — so a result means the same thing every time, on any platform.

Overall Risk
—
Not yet assessed

Higher = worse.

Compliance Risk
—
Not yet assessed

Policy-risk language relative to the selected platform profile.

Content Safety
—
Not yet assessed

Profanity, harassment, adult, or self-harm related signals.

Account Enforcementseparate
—
Not yet assessed

Account-level signals. Not included in Overall Risk.

01

Higher = more detected risk

Every signal is a 0–100 estimate. It measures what was detected in your copy — not a probability, not a verdict.

02

Overall never dilutes

Overall Risk is the higher of Compliance Risk and Content Safety. A strong isolated signal stays visible.

03

Enforcement stays separate

Account-level signals are reported on their own axis and never folded into Overall Risk.

04

Directional, always

Scores estimate detected risk. They do not predict whether a platform will approve or reject an ad.

Rewrite unavailable

This copy relies on claims that need substantiation: a clinical-proof claim ("clinically proven") and a professional endorsement ("doctor recommended"). A softer proof claim is not a safe substitute, so no rewrite was offered. Remove the claims, or state the actual evidence behind them.

Methodology & limitations

Risk scores are directional estimates — higher means more detected risk. They are not pass/fail verdicts.

Optimus Pass does not determine whether any advertising platform will approve or reject an ad.

Account Enforcement Risk is separate from Overall Risk and is not included in it.

Optimus Pass is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Google, TikTok, OpenAI, or any advertising platform.

Rewrite Behavior

When is a rewrite the right fix?

The engine offers a lower-risk rewrite when rewording is enough — and declines when it isn't.

01

Swap the flagged wording

When the risk lives in specific terms, the engine suggests lower-risk wording that stays inside the selected ad field's character limit.

02

No rewrite masks a bad offer

Prohibited or claim-level content can't be saved by rewording. The engine says so plainly instead of generating a cosmetic fix.

03

Checked again before being shown

A candidate rewrite that still carries a high-risk or prohibited claim is suppressed, not shown.

In the sample above:the engine swapped “revolutionary” for “advanced” and “fix” for “support” — cosmetic and outcome wording it can replace without changing the claim. It did notrewrite the proof and endorsement claims. “Clinically proven” and “doctor recommended” need substantiation the engine cannot verify, so swapping them for “research-backed” or “trusted by professionals” would only relocate the claim. Those rewrites are suppressed, and the report asks for the actual evidence instead.

A rewrite is a starting point for your copywriter — not an approval guarantee.

Signal Coverage

Which platforms does the scanner cover?

Policy rules differ per platform. Optimus Pass runs the same 65 risk detectors on every scan, then weights and scores the results against each platform's enforcement profile.

Field Limits

Why do character limits matter?

Each platform field has a hard ceiling. The scanner enforces it — and suggested rewrites are capped to fit the field you picked.

Detection

65 detectors. Multi-signal by design.

Restricted wording, semantic narrative patterns, platform-specific rules, and content-safety signals — run against the selected platform profile.

  • Outcome Claims
  • Violence / Self-Harm
  • Hate / Harassment

  • Adult / Sexual Content
  • Financial Claims

Narrative patterns keyword scanners miss

  • •Recovery Arc: “I finally feel like myself again” — zero banned terms, implies recovery from a negative state.
  • •Transformation Claim: “See results in 7 days” — implies a specific outcome inside a timeframe.
  • •Personal-Attribute Framing: “For people who struggle with focus” — targets a personal attribute some platforms restrict.
  • •Emotional Frustration Targeting: “Tired of low energy?” — exploits a negative state as the hook.
  • •Unsubstantiated Authority: “Doctors recommend” — implies endorsement without evidence.

Detectors are directional review signals, updated when confirmed platform policy changes are identified.

Risk Model

How the number gets there.

The scoring is deliberate and directional — no pass/fail verdicts, no approval promises.

  1. 01

Compliance Risk is driven primarily by the strongest detected risk signals.

  2. 02

Higher scores mean more detected compliance risk — the score is not a probability that an ad will be rejected.

  3. 03

Genuinely prohibited offers can reach maximum risk; rewording alone will not make them acceptable.

  4. 04

Overall Risk is the higher of Compliance Risk and Content Safety. Account Enforcement is reported on a separate axis.

Directional, by design

Scores estimate the risk detected in your copy. They do not predict whether a platform will approve or reject an ad, and Optimus Pass is not affiliated with or endorsed by any advertising platform.

Frequently asked questions

What does the ad compliance scanner check?

It runs your copy through 65 risk detectors against the platform profile you select — claim language, personal wording, restricted categories, content-safety signals, and semantic and narrative review patterns. Every scan, free or paid, runs the same detectors. Each detection reports the matched wording, why it matters, its severity, and a recommended action.

Which platforms does it check against?

Ten platform profiles: Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, OpenAI Ads, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Etsy, CTV, and Broadcast. You select the profile when you scan, because wording that triggers review on one platform may pass on another. Profiles are built from published platform policies and confirmed enforcement signals — Optimus Pass is not affiliated with any platform.

Is the scanner free?

Yes. Create a free account and verify your email to run the scan. No credit card is required. Free accounts include 3 full checks with the complete findings ledger saved to your account. Professional adds 50 monthly checks, landing-page audits, and SEO, GEO, and AEO Readiness visibility diagnostics; Agency adds 250 checks and multi-client organization. Narrative detection runs on every scan.

What do the risk dimensions mean?

Compliance Risk measures policy-risk language under the selected profile. Content Safety Risk measures profanity, harassment, adult, or self-harm signals. Overall Risk is the stronger of the two. Account Enforcement Risk is reported separately — it describes account-level consequences the detected patterns are associated with, and it is never folded into Overall Risk. All scores are directional, not pass/fail verdicts.

What happens with prohibited content?

Prohibited categories force maximum risk and suppress the rewrite suggestion entirely. The scanner will not generate compliant-looking copy for a prohibited offer — it tells you plainly that the underlying content or offer must change.

Does a clean scan guarantee ad approval?

No. Optimus Pass provides a directional risk review, not an approval guarantee. Advertising platforms make enforcement decisions independently and may change their policies without notice. Use the scan to surface wording worth checking before submission.

Optimus Pass is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta, Google, TikTok, OpenAI, or any advertising platform. Directional review — not an approval guarantee.
